The James River Aquatic Club will award seven Michael Jameson Stott scholarships to area seniors who are headed to college next month. The scholarships total $7,000. The scholarships are in honor of past JRAC president and 30-year volunteer Mike Stott. The program began in 1996 and has awarded $75,000 to 71 recipients.
